I laid down between them and watched them play for a while.
We hit the hay about 11:30. Zarah was completely wound up and would not go to sleep for at least 30 minutes. Both girls laid beside me and gave me big hugs before we fell asleep.
Sunday June 28th 2015
I got up at 8:45 am. Deeya was just getting up to get Brookynn ready for her camping trip. We packed up Azure and Zarahs stuff they made and all of their clothes to take with us.
Brooklynn found a couple of old dresses for Azure and Zarah to wear to the Princess Roller Skating at Skateland.
We left the house at 10:00 am or so. We took the black van. It was about 72 degrees with a small breeze and not a cloud in the sky. I just kept saying out loud. “What a beautiful day it is outside today”. I told Azure and Zarah “That is one of the reasons God makes rainy days. That way we appreciate the sunny days even more and don’t take them for granted.”
I told them that one of the reasons that there are sad days in our lives is so we will enjoy and appreciate the happy ones even more. I gave a dollar to a guy with a sign standing at 38th and 465.
We drove to the Dollar store on the west side. We stopped in to get a couple of Tiara for the girls to wear but they didn’t have any. So we jumped back in the van and drove to Meijers.
We found a couple of Disney Princess Tiaras right away. We got to the Roller Rink at 12:05. Then I remembered that Zarah and Azure didn’t have any socks. There was a another Dollar store about two blocks away. I drove over there and ran in and got some Frozen socks for the girls.
We got back to the Roller Rink at about 14 after. We sat in the van while they put socks on. There were about 20 people standing there waiting to get in.
The had the place decked out pretty fun. The played Frozen music most of the time. The girl employees were all dressed up as Princesses. They had a snack table.
I ate 3 pieces of cheese pizza. The girls had a couple cupcakes. We all 3 had ice cream. Every one seemed really nice to each other.
The princess performed about a 25 minute show for the kids. We all got our pictures taken with them for fun. Azure and Zarah and I skated around holding hands alot.
