Thursday at 2:00 P.M. Deeya, and Brooklynn left to go to the hotel in Indianapolis to get ready for Brooklynns Pageant. I worked for Support.com until 7:00 P.M.
I worked on The photos for my website until 2:00 A.M.
Friday.
On Friday ( Deeyas Birthday ) Courtney got the the house with the girls around 6:30. I wore Azure sunglasses with the daisies on the frame to the door. They were all shocked. Plus I haven’t shaved for about a week. Azure was like. Uhhh I can’t get used to that .
Courtney brought in a bag with clothes and a couple of dresses for the girls to wear for the pageant. And also a bag with 3 Fathers Days gifts in them. She told me the girls hadn’t eaten dinner yet.
I didn’t know it at the time but Tim was out in the car and was waiting. Courtney and Tim were on their way to Michigan to see David and Courtney to see the new Baby “Andrew”.
As soon as Courtney left the girls and I got in the black van and went to Cicero. Zarah and Azure flipped out because there was a spider in the back of the van. I ended up having to pull over half way to Cicero and stop and take the spider out because Zarah ended up crying about it.
We went into McDonalds and ate dinner. We walked to the side of McDonalds to the Redbox and got 3 movies.

Night at the Museum
Alexander has a really horrible day ( or something like that )
Then we went to the gas station across the street and got a bag of sour gummy worms.
The girls did a modeling show with their dresses on for me. it was cut. Then they watched “Alexander”. After it was over they wanted me to put on some music so they could dance.
They danced all around the carpet in the basement while I showed “Taylor Swift on I heart Radio DVD”. Azure told me that she was going to get to take Jazz Dance lessons. I told that was awesome.|
I told Azure that the week after Thanksgiving all of us were going to go see the “Moscow Ballet perform the Nutcracker” at the Murat. She was super excited and her face lit all up. She hoped out loud that she could meet a ballerina. I think I will call Chris Dickey and see if he will help me make that happen.
I worked on the Mp2 player for michaelbrooks.net while they danced around. After that the 3 of us laid on the floor and watched “Book of life”. I was in the middle.
We went to bed at 12:00ish. We slept in my room. I had to lay with my head at the other end of the mattress because it was so crowded.
SATURDAY June 20th 2015
I got up at 8:30. Zarah kept asking me to open my presents. Azure said, no not until tomorrow on Fathers day. I told them that we had to get cleaned up later to go see Brooklynn.
I told them that I was going to take a shower and shave my face. Zarah did not want me to… Azure definitely did…lol..
Azure went upstairs and worked on a picture that she is drawing me for Fathers Day tomorrow. Eventually Zarah and I made it upstairs. I put in “Night at the Museum 2” on the T.V. upstairs.
I made Honey Nut Cheerios for the girls for Breakfast. I messed around for a little while making an .MP3 player for my website.
Around 12:30 I jumped in the Shower. Azure and Zarah put on their dresses and fixed their hair. And for the most part the had fun getting ready. A small spat ensued for a few minutes.
Around 2:00 we finally got out the door. We took a couple of pictures on Deeyas bridge while we were all cleaned up.

We drove to Scott and Elaina’s house. Scott and I listened to the final mixes of his songs. Elaina made Ice Cream and Pop Corn for the girls and got them each a Hello Kitty marker coloring book.
We left to go to the Marriot Downtown. We got there at about 5:00 P.M. when we got in line to go into the pageant I couldn’t believe how many people were there. We found Yudi, Andrew and Roger.
We got in and grabbed some seats in the 3rd row. There were 79 girls left for todays final competition. It went on for a couple of hours. Brooklynn made into the 15 finalists. And then Tada.
She won the State. We were all very happy for her.
We went up to the hotel room. Frank ordered carry out up to the room for all of us.
One of Brooklynns friends who is in the teen competition tomorrow came up with her mother. They stayed for about 3 hours. The girl sang two songs for us in the room. She did good.
Azure and Brooklynn and Zarah and I went down to the gift shop and got a lemonade and orange juice and water.
The girls spent about 10 minutes in the “selfie booth” dressing up in the lobby of the hotel.
The girls had a blast playing in the other room while the adults talked and laughed.
Brooklynn put her pony tail over the top of Andrews shaved head and we all got a huge laugh out of the way he looked. It was hilarious.
We all were exhausted by 10:30. P.M. We said our goodbyes and left. We were all in a good mood but tired. We had a really good time today.
Zarah fell asleep before we got to 65th Street.
We got home at 11:30. Zarah came in and was asleep again before she hit the mattress. She didn’t even her dress and socks off.
Azure laid on the mattress and read the “Gettysburg Address” out loud and played with her Nintendo while I typed this. I will have lots of picture sorting to do tomorrow.
Sunday.
I couldn’t believe it when I woke up at 10:28 A.M. Wow I must’ve been tired. Zarah got up right after me. Azure slept untill 11:30 on the dot. We got up and they watched Alexander and ate muffins for breakfast.
We went out on the back porch and Azure and Zarah gave me my 3 Fathers Day Gifts. They were all awesome. A Fender Guitar sign. A Fender Headstock coat hanger. And a Little metal man playing a Flying V.
Then a little later Azure gave me a drawing she made her and I together. It choked me up. I told her that I love home made gifts the best. I loved the picture.

Zarah played with playdoh at the Card table in the basement and Azure played with her Nintendo. I took all the pictures off the cameras and my phone. I put the Brooklynn win announcement on Youtube and also a video of her singing “Daddy you’re too old”. I emailed a copy to Deeya, Steve Anderson and Scott Burke.
Azure came in and said “Brooklynns lucky”. And that started a two hour conversation about that contest. I told her that the contest wasn’t about winning a trophy. The contest was to help Brooklynn learn to be confident and comfortable being herself. And how to behave a certain way in any situation.
I spent two hours talking to Azure about how she can develop her confidence, and be herself and not let others make her do things she knows she shouldn’t. I talked to her about not putting herself down. and not giving up. I was almost winded by the end of the conversation. (speech .. lol ) .
Azure picked up and started working on Ballet moves. I set up the laptop so she could watch lessons on Youtube.com.
While she did that I went out and mowed the front yard. It stormed pretty hard last night and there were leaves and branches everywhere.
Zarah came outside and “helped” me put down 18 bags mulch in the front yard. Zarah got pretty dirty and washed her legs in the outside faucet.
I started picking up stuff in the basement and doing the girls laundry. I pulled out the guest pull out bed in the piano room for Coach Troys family. They are coming from Arizona tomorrow.
I took down the crib in the room. While I did that Azure and Zarah wiped off the kitchen counters and swept and mopped the kitchen floor.
After we got done we took a break and went down to the gas station. They got Gobstoppers and a Pop-tart.
We got back to house. I was getting pretty wore out by now. Courtney texted me and asked to meet me around 8:30. The girls wanted to stay so I just asked Courtney if we could meet tomorrow. She said O.K.
I put a picture of me and the girls and a pick of my “Fender” sign for Fathers Day. We got about 30 likes in no time.
Yudi got home around 8:00 P.M. She made Pop-corn and Hot Chocolate for the girls. I watched about 20 minutes of the Foo Fighters Live at Wembly.
Deeya called Yudi and told her that they were running so far behind that they were just going to stay at the Hotel for another night.
We all went downstairs and watched “Book of Life” with the lights out. The movie got over around 11:15 P.M. Yudi went upstairs for the night.
The girls ended up playing with Pataka for over an hour. They each had a shiny piece of string and were running circles around him. He would attack each piece of string as they ran around him.
They were giggling and laughing hysterically. I couldn’t believe how long it went on. Finally they got winded and slowed down a little bit. I finally video taped about 5 minutes of it as it was winding down.
I eventually told them that I had to work in the morning so I needed to go to sleep. They reluctantly came to bed. They were pretty wound up still. They laughed and played in the bed in the dark for about 30 minutes. They weren’t really bugging me though. It was nice to hear them having so much fun together.
Eventually, about 30 more minutes or so later they quieted down and went to sleep. I did too.
Monday June 22nd 2015
My alarm went off at 8:30. I drove to the Speedway down the road and got a couple Pop-Tarts for the girls. Zarah didn’t want hers so she gave it to Brooklynn.
Sponge Bob Popsicles.
Yudi told me around 4:00 that the three girls were hungry so I gave Yudi my bank card. And they all went to Burger King.
Brooklynn and Azure and Zarah played together all day until I got off work at 6:15. And except for one notable exception where Zarah threw a 45 minute fit. They played well together.
Deeya got home at 6:00 and hung out in the basement for about 25 minutes. Yudi and Azure went to the Store. I went to the lakehouse and mowed the yard. An Ice Cream truck drove by and I bought a Raspberry snow cone. I’ll bet its been 35 years since I visited an Ice Cream truck. I reminded me of living on Woodlawn Drive In Anderson Indiana, when I was 7-12 years old.
About 15 minutes after I got back, Coach Troy and his two kids Lexi and Tristan arrived. Lexi is 5. and Tristan is 9 or 10. They played loudly in the basement while Deeya Troy and I sat in the living room and talked. Frank went to Cicero to pickup several Pizza King Pizza’s
Yudi and Zarah got back just as we started eating the pizza.
After eating Azure, Tristan and Brooklynn walked around the trail. It was about 8:30 by then so it will be getting dark soon. While they walked the trail I set up crayons and coloring books in the dining room for Lexi and Zarah. Zarah drew a picture of her standing outside. I said “What are you doing in the picture?” and she said ” I am looking at the Space Shuttle” …. i laughed.

After everyone had had enough of that. We all went downstairs and watched “Scooby Doo Camp Scare” on the wall (Minus Deeya, Frank and Troy). Azure and Zarah laid with me on the floor.
Frank and Troy broke up the party around 10:00 telling Buku, Lexi and Tristan that they had to go to bed.
Azure and Yudi, Zarah and I finished the movie. After Yudi went upstairs I decided that I didn’t want to stay up very late because of work the next day.
We went to bed. I laid in the middle in the dark and watched Azure play with her Gameboy and Zarah play Friv.com on the laptop. This went on for about and hour and a half. We had a good time.
I got up at 8:00 am. Deeya, Buku, Troy, Tristan and Lexi left to go play tennis around 9:00. Azure made Cereal for her and Zarah. They ate it in the basement on the carpet.

I started work at 9:30. Around 12:00 Yudi came down stairs and took the girls with her on a couple of errands. She bought Azure a pair of Jazz/Ballet Shoes. Azure was super excited about that.
After everyone got back around 3:30 they all played in the Workout room for a couple of hours. Deeya got home at 5:30. She bought a new Apple Desktop and asked me if I would set it up for her when I got a chance. I said “sure”
I got off work at 6:00 P.M. And not a moment too soon. I was over it for the day. Courtney texted me and asked me what time I wanted to meet her with the girls.
Courtney said that they had a dentist appointment on Thursday. So we decided for them to go back to Brownsburg for Wednesday and come back Thursday after work for my Birthday.
We took the Black Van. On the way we talked about People eating too much. And having self control. and delayed gratification. And the best things in life sometimes take time to pay off.
I told her how if you tell a 4 year old they can have one cookie now. Or two cookies if they wait 5 minutes most kids will choose the one cookie now.
I met Courtney at Starbuck around 7:00. It is a beautiful afternoon outside. Courtney gave me copies of Azure and Zarahs School pictures.
I got back and set up Deeyas new Computer. Then I went downstairs and worked on this.
