12 Degrees outside right now. Took the black van and met Courtney and Tim at Starbucks at 4:30. Traffic at a near standstill at 465 and Meridian.
Got the girls and we went to McDonalds in Westfield. They waited in the van while I got two happy meals. They ate on the way to Deeyas.
Then Yudi took them and Buku to a Glow in the dark party at Harbour Shores Church at 5:45. I left at 6:08 to meet them there.
They had blocked off a large room and filled it with black lights and neon decorations They had facepainting and games and popcorn and nachos. and lots of other snacks and refreshments. Azure and Brooklynn stayed close together the whole time. Zarah pretty much ran around just making her self at home with anyone and everyone. They all got their faces painted. Zarah also got her fingernails painted.
They had a good time. Zarah didn’t seem to want me to hang out with her. And Azure and Buku seemed to want to be left alone too. I sat over on the sidelines most of the time and watched everyone. I was a little down about it. But oh well. The program got over at 8:00 pm. We all went back.
The girls all played in the basement until Brooklynn had to go upstairs at 9:30. I talked to Scott off and on until midnight. He purchased a 700.00 Yamaha mixing board today and wanted me to help him install the Device drivers for Cubase. There is some sort of conflict. The drivers install but will not run.
Azure, Zarah and I watched some magic tricks on Youtube. Zarah and Azure each had a banana and water. We went to bed about one am. They had thier glow in the dark sticks and balloons in the bed with them.
Both of them fell asleep pretty much right away. I was happy to have them beside me. There was nice glow in the room because of the glow in the dark toys and the space heater. ( I have my bedroom setup in Deeyas old clothes room in the basement right now. )
2-21-15
I got up around 8:00 am. Brooklynn came down a few minutes later. I told her she could wake the girls up if she wanted.
Zarah helped me make pancakes for Yudi, Azure and Brooklynn. She did a good job. Deeya talked to her about how to be safe around a stove.
Yudi took Buku to tumbling around 11:30 and Azure went with them. Zarah was upset that she couldn’t go. I took Zarah outside and we played in the snow in the front yard. We got about 3-4 inches of snow last night. It didn’t last long because she was cold.
We went in the house and I made her some hot chocolate in a sippy cup and she played on the uptoten.com website for a while. I talked to Scott Burke a couple of times and Added my CMS website project to GITHUB.com for the first time. I was excited to get that done.
The girls got back from Tumbling around 2:30. Buku had to go upstairs to work on her pageant with a lady that came over. Zarah and Azure and I went to Taco bell and ate inside. Zarah had a cheese roll-up and Azure had a Doritos Taco. They each got a Strawberry Starburst freezy drink. Then we went to Wal-mart in West-field and got “Earth to Echo” and “Mr Peabody and Sherman” from Redbox. I got Brad Pitt “Fury” because they offered me a 3rd movie at no charge. But I probably won’t end up watching it.
Then we walked around the toy department for about a 1/2 hour. We got back out to the car and got in and I tried to start it and realized that
I had left it running the whole time. I couldn’t believe it.. crazy.
Then we got back and the girls played together until about 7:00 P.M. Zarah fussed quite a bit with Brooklynn and Azure about who had too many glow sticks. Deeya came down and intervened. Yudi gave them all fruit cups with grapes bananas and melons in them.
Then Azure and Zarah made a “zip line” with a basket on it and ran a stuffed monkey up and down it. They sang “I am just like you, you’re just like me” from Barbie Princess and the Pauper over and over, but at least they were having fun.
Around 8:00 I took the Video projection unit into the old workout room and put “Earth to Echo” on the wall. I cooked a pepperoni Pizza for the 4 girls. ( Yudi included) and made some pop corn. I took it all down to them. They laid on the carpet with blankets and pillows. They had fun.
Then Buku went to bed. Azure and Zarah and I laid on my mattress and watched “Sherman and Peabody”. They both fell asleep with their heads on my shoulders. I fell asleep around 12:30 PM.
2-22-15
I got up at 8:00. The I made cheerios for the girls and brought it down to the basement. I woke them up. They finished “Peabody and Sherman” on the laptop, from the point where they had fallen asleep the night before. They got ready for Church.
We left for church at 10:00 am. In Sunday School, Zarah made a “Hairy Arm” out of fake fur and a TP roller. For the story of Esah and Jacob. That was interesting.
We got home Frank had to leave to work at the hospital for an emergency. I made the girls Turkey Sandwiches and Tositos and Lemonade for lunch.
We played the Chutes and Ladders board game for a while. Then the girls watched the Disney Channel for a little while. While I texted with Courtney. She had given me a couple of gifts to give to the girls at Christmas and they had gotten lost in the shuffle. she reminded me and I went out to the barn to find them.
I gave Zarah her Elsa Flippy hat and Azure a couple of stuffed animals for her collection. They both liked them alot.
They had also given me a couple of Christmas gifts also. Black touch screen sensitive gloves and a black thermal “Under Armour” style shirt. And some “Vampire Hot Sauce”. That was very nice of them. I will certainly use them. Especially in this weather.
Matching Tongue and Hat.
I went to the gas station at 3:30 and got Azure a Ice Cream Reece Cup and Buku a Drumstick and Zarah wanted a Baby Bottle Pop (pink).
Azure put in the “serial” numbers for her Webkinz pets on Webkinz.com.
The 3 of them played until about 5:00 P.M. I made Spagettio’s for Azure and Zarah.
We left to meet Courtney at Costco at 96th and Michigan around 5:30 PM. I got them out of the car and gave them each a hug and kiss and left. I am a little sad. I went to half-price books and browsed around for about 1/2 hour. Then I went Bella’s Pizza at Clay Terrace and got a slice of 2.99 Cheese Pizza and then went back to Deeyas.
