Frank, Deeya, Brooklynn and I went to Harbour Shores church. The pastor gave a sad sermon about his failing health.
We talked to Steve and Diane after church for a while. Then we went to La Cascada in Cicero and ate lunch. We got back to Deeyas at around 1:35 P.M. I drove the CRV to Starbucks at 96th and Meridan. I bought a tall latte and waited for about 1/2 hour.
Courtney and the girls showed up with Maddie a little later. I took Zarah in to Starbucks to use the rest room. I gave them each a Cherry Blow-pop from the gas station.
We got back to Deeyas and Azure and Zarah played “Restaurant” in the basement they each had super big stuffed animals as customers.
After a while I took the girls to Cicero. We got two movies. Monster High and Mouse tales. I got Azure a Chocolate Milk Shake from McDonalds and got Zarah a candy necklace from the gas station. We drove back to the house. While they played in the basement I tried to work on a drum part for the song Brooklynn wants to you in her Pageant in June.
Broolynn had to go to bed about 8:00 p.m. Azure and Zarah watched part of the Mouse movie with Yudi in the basement. Azure fell asleep with her head on the stuffed gorilla. Zarah and Yudi went up to Yudi’s room for about an hour.
Zarah came back down around 11:00. I gave up on my drum project and we all went to sleep I slept at the foot of the mattress.
Monday June 1st 2015
I got up at 5:30 am and made Oatmeal for Deeya and Frank. I went back to bed and got up at 8:30. I cleaned up the basement a little. Zarah woke up and came upstairs. She and I went out to the barn. I carried her because the grass was a little wet.
I fed the chickens and then we got in the black van when I started it she said Zarah said “Its very very loud in here”. We drove to the gas station. She got a box of cherry Pop-tarts and I got a Coke Zero.
We got back to the house , I woke Azure up. She was a little teary and said her ear hurt when she swallowed. I gave her some low -dose asprins and a Pop-tart and milk.
They watched a movie while I started working at 10:00 am. Yudi got home around noon. She took the girls with her to pickup Brooklynn from Tennis.
Then they came back around 1:30 and washed Yudis Car.
Monday night Yudi made Dinner and then The girls and I and Yudi watched “GOD’s NOT DEAD”. Zarah went upstairs after the movie and slept in Yudis room.
Azure played MineCraft on the laptop while I laid in bed beside her.
We went to sleep around 11:00
Zarah came down at 5:30 and was crying because Yudi had to take Brooklynn to Tennis. Zarah curled up beside me and fell asleep.
We got up at 5:30. I gave the girls a bag of donuts that I had bought at the gas station the day before. Zarah didn’t want them So I got her a banana and an orange and some milk.
I started working at 10:00. Brooklynn ended up being late so she didn’t go to tennis until 11:00. Yudi came downstairs and took Azure and Zarah with her. They went to the mall and played Yudi sent me some pictures.
When they got back around 4:00 Brooklynn saw the new Trampoline that Deeya ordered for her. Complete with a basket ball goal. The girls played outside on it for about an hour.
Then Yudi came in to cook Blue Apron. Brooklynn and Azure made a fort by covering the area behind the “Bar” with a blanket. They played on the Smart Phones By recording stuff and then playing it backwards at a high speed. They were really laughing hard for a long time.
Zarah hung out in the kitchen with Yudi. I got off work at 7:00. P.M. I am burned out. We ate dinner and then Yudi came down stairs with us. Azure and Yudi made a video on the cell phone.
Zarah and I played with a couple wooden Jigsaw puzzles. She brought over one of the United States of America. She said as she was carrying it, “Lets do this Planet Puzzle”. Yudi and I cracked up. I said I am going to have to write that one in my journal. LOL.
Yudi went upstairs to go to sleep. Azure, Zarah and I went to Cicero to the McDonalds. We took two movies back and got “Spongebob Sponge out of water”. The girls got two baby bottle pops at the gas station in Cicero. We got back the house and laid on the carpet and watched most of the movie. Both the girls fell asleep about 1/2 way through it.
I covered them up and went to my mattress. Zarah came in a little later followed by Azure shortly after that.
I got up at 5:30 a.m. and made Oatmeal for me, Deeya and Frank. Then I went back to bed. Azure woke me up at 9:00 a.m. They ate Cheerios upstairs and then we went out to the barn.
Wednesday June 3rd 2015
I worked on Deeya and Franks new Gondola. Azure and Zarah played on the new trampoline. Then they got bored so, I took a break and we took the SpongeBob movie back to Redbox.
The had a blanket spread out in the very back of the van and were playing giggling the whole trip. When we got back the girls played scavenger hunt with some Now and Laters and Starbursts for a while.
Then when Yudi got home the 3 of them went to get Brooklynn from Tennis.
They all came back and played in the house and ate water melon and fruit. Then at 5 they went to Brooklynns Soccer practice. They got back around 6:00. I gave up on the Gondola for a while then.
Azure, Zarah and Yudi went out side to play about the same time I came in the house.
Zarah and Azure helped Yudi make the Blue Apron. Azure had some of it.
Around 7:00. Frank and I went outside and put non-skid tape on the feet of the Trampoline.
Around 7:30 Zarah and I went outside and I watched her jump on the trampoline for about 20 minutes.
At 8:00 PM. Azure and Yudi and Zarah went up to Yudi’s room. Azure talked to Yudi’s nephew in Columbia on the phone. Yudi was helping her talk Spanish.
The girls Slept upstairs in Yudis room. I went to bed about 10:00 Pm.
THURSDAY June 4th 2015
I got up at 5:50 and made Oatmeal for Frank and Deeya and went back to bed after that.
I woke up at 9:00 am. I could hear the girls upstairs. I went up to the kitchen. Yudi was making pancakes for the girls. Yudi told me that Zarah sat up several time in the middle of the night and was fighting with someone in her sleep.I said yeah she does that sometimes.
Zarah was eating a bowl of cheerios. It is a beautiful day out today. About 70 Degrees and blue Skies.
Zarah and I went to the gas station at 10:00 and I got a coke.
I started work at 10:30. The girls all went with Yudi to Bukus practice. I told Azure and Zarah to be good and mind Yudi. and Have fun.
Yudi and the girls went to Castleton mall after practice and played for a while. They got back around 3:00.
The 3 of them took a long bath in the Jacuzzi with swim suits on. They had a great time. When I let the water out later I couldn’t believe how much dirt was in the bottom. LOL.
Deeya, Frank and Buku went to a Chris Botti concert at the Palladium around 6:30. I got off work at 7:28. Yudi was leaving to go out for a while and the girls were hungry.
We drove the CRV to Subway in Cicero. The girls each got a milk as 6 inch sub. I paid for chips for them but Azure forgot hers.
We went to the park over by the Cicero Library and ate under the shelter. It was a very nice evening. A lot of people were out.
After we ate the girls played on the park equipment for about an hour or so. I took a few pictures.
We left the park at 9:00. I t was still day light out. We drove down the road to the Dairy Queen and went inside.
There were a lot of people there eating. Azure and Zarah got dilly bars. I got a new Jurassic Blizzard. It was good.
Azure and I were talking about Gravity and Outer Space and Black holes. and stuff.
At one point Azure said “Can you go on Pluto?“. And the Zarah said “Yeah, and can you go on Mickey?” Azure and I started laughing.
We tried to time the drive back to go to the water and watch the 9:35 fly over of the Space Shuttle, But unfortunately it was too overcast by then.
We got back home. I played the 1st 10 minutes of the Movie “Gravity ” to show Azure a description of space shuttles.
Then we watched “Big Hero 6”. Zarah fell asleep on the floor. Deeya, Frank and Buku got home at 11:00. Brooklynn had her picture taken with Chris Botti.
Friday June 5th 2015
We got up around 8:00. Azure left with Brooklynn and Yudi to Brooklynns Tennis Practice. I gave Azure 20.00 to spend over the weekend. Zarah and I went out to the Barn and fed the chickens.
Then Zarah walked around in the Chicken Coop while I made a divider out of chicken wire. I was planning to take Zarah with me to Scott and Elaina’s house before the Electric Six show, but Courtney said that she had to go to a softball game in the evening in Pittsboro.
While Brooklynn was at Tennis, Azure and Yudi went to the Fashion mall and Toys R us. Azure saw a dance store that she really liked in Carmel. After practice the 3 of them went to Alexanders in Cicero and got ice cream. Brooklynn and Azure watched T.V. in the Basement while Yudi made dinner. Later in the evening Brooklynn and Azure called Andrew Harris on the phone and he talked the them in a bunch of pretend voices.
Frank texted me and asked if I had time to take the Black Van to Carx and have the muffler fixed. So Courtney and I decided to meet there and she could just take Zarah from there. Zarah was very disappointed not to be able to go with me to Scotts and was crying about it. I told her that we would go soon.
Courtney met me at Carx in Castleton about 2:00 PM. It was a very nice summer day. About 82 degrees. Courtney gave me a ride to the Mall and dropped me off at the food court. I walked around the mall for a while. basically bored. Eventually I got the veggie delight in the food court and ate it slowly while killing time.
Azure texted me about 3:00 and asked if Zarah and I wanted some ice cream. I said thank you, but Zarah and I aren’t home. I called Carx around 4:00 they said it would be done soon. I walked over to goodwill and bought a “Idiots guide to Motorcycles” for Scott. It was only .99 cents but looked brand new. Then I walked over to Sam Ash and played a Baby “Taylor Swift” Taylor Acoustic guitar.
I saw a used Red Fender Mini Stratocaster for 35.00 Dollars. It looked brand new. I thought what the heck I would get that for Azure and I to play on. I walked to Carx around 5:00. They still weren’t done with it. I sat there until about 5:45. I drove back to Sam Ash and bought the guitar and then drove to Scotts. We sat down in his basement until 8:15 listening to old mixes of his music. Then we went to Fountain Square.
Deeya texted me on the way. She was having dinner at the Lazy Frogg in Cicero. She got me a gig playing there. That was super cool.
We got to the “HI-FI” around 9:00 P.M. It was packed, loud, muggy and there was no place to sit. So we left and walked around for about an hour while the 1st two bands played. We ran into Jason from our band. And later we ran into Greg from our band. Small World.
Around 11:00 we got back to the “HI-FI” it was just before “ELECTRIC SIX” started. I managed to find a table for the 3 of us. I couldn’t believe it. “ELECTRIC SIX” was hilarious and entertaining. Everyone loved it. They played about 23 songs. All of the ones I wanted to hear. Electric Six – Danger High Voltage
Both Scott and Elaina had a lot of fun. The guy sitting beside us saw them in Cincinnati last night and was going Michigan to see them tomorrow. I got home around 2:00 am. And crashed.
Azure was asleep up in Yudi’s room.
SATURDAY June 6th 2015
At 7:30 Azure, Yudi and Brooklynn went to Soccer practice. and then to Brooklynns Soccer game at noon. After that they went to Alexanders again. When they got back the 3 them played pm the trampoline. Then they watched Big Hero 6 down in the basement. They were all tired and fell asleep during the movie.
I got up at 10:00 and started working of the Gazebo. Around noon I had to go to the hardware store to get lag bolts for the base of the Gazebo. I stopped into the Lazy Frogg and met with the owner. We traded numbers and talked about when I could start. He wanted me to start today… But I was not quite set up that soon.
I worked on the Gazebo until 6:30 PM
Deeya, Azure and Brooklynn went out to the barn at that same time and started practicing for Brooklynns pageant on the stage. A little while later Azure came down stairs crying. I was scared at first. Said that she thought her pierced ears had grown back over. I was relived that that was all it was. Deeya came downstairs and said that she would put some numbing stuff on Azures ears tomorrow and check the piercing hole.
After Brooklynn practiced, the girls played in the basement until 8:30 P.M. Then Azure and I went to Burger King. We got two medium Oreo “Blizzards”. She got the Red Velvet one.
When we got back I started giving Azure a guitar lesson, and that as usual turned into a big discussion about life and careers and choices and attitude, and determination….etc… We talked for about 3 hours. from 9 until just after 11:00 p.m.
We went upstairs and got a water just as Frank was coming in from the Barn from Cleaning it all day. He said “What are you doing up?” I said oh we have been having a grown up discussion about life. He said “that’s good”.
Azure talked about “Ballet and Jazz” dancing. I said if you are not tired put in the movie “Isabelle” and try to copy the ballet moves for a while and then we will hit the hay.
She watched about 2/3rds of it. Finally at 1:20 I said. I am beat lets get some sleep. So we did.
Sunday June 7th 2015
we got up at 10:00. I made Azure a bowl of Cheerios. And then I took a shower. I called Scott. He said he would be over about noon. So while we waited I put in the Live Taylor Swift “Speak Now” Blu-Ray and Azure played “Drops of Jupiter”. Scott came over and played guitar for a few also.
Then we went out back and worked on putting up the roof of the Gazebo. Azure came outside with her Blue Acoustic and watched us. We got 1/2 of the roof up in about an hour. I was so stoked by how smooth it went I said lets go grab some lunch to celebrate and if you still have energy we will try to but another quarter of the roof on.
We ate at “La Cascada” in Cicero. Scott and I liked it. Azure wasn’t that thrilled with hers.
We got back and worked until 4:30. We got the whole roof on. I was very happy about getting that done.
Scott left and I drove Azure to Starbucks and 96th and Meridian. around 5:00. Courtney was there. We talked for about 5 minutes.
When I got back to the house I added some more screws to the roof for about an hour and went downstairs.
Just as I got down stairs Deeya and Brooklynn walked in . Brooklynn had a Trophy in her hand. They won the Soccer Tournament.
After the 3 of of Checked out the Gazebo. Deeya’s phone rang. It was Franks Daughter Brittney. She told Deeya that she is getting Married.
