On Friday February 21st I had Band Rehearsal at 6:30 P.M. Yudi took me in her car.
Deeya met up with Courtney around 6:00 P.M. and Picked up Azure and Zarah.
They came to Deeyas House while I was at Practice.
Andrew came over and He, Brooklynn, Azure and Zarah had Pizza and Played in the Basement.
I got home around 9:30. P.M. When I came in both Azure and Zarah ran up to me and gave me a hug. The 3 of us scrunched together in the Recliner. We watched Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2.
We fell asleep around 11:30 P.M. The next morning I made pancakes. We played all day. We watched funny animal videos on YouTube.
We made a Play Doh Pizza. Azure and Brooklynn Read Books together.
Around 3:00 PM Yudi gave Azure and Zarah a bath. I took a Shower and got ready for the Daddy Daughter Dance. I was very excited. This had been something I had wanted to do with Azure for several years.
Deeya crimped Azures hair. Azure wanted to surprise me and wouldn’t let me see her until we were ready to leave at 5:30 P.M. She looked so Radiant and beautiful btw…Her cheeks were glowing.
The dance was at 5 Seasons. We had Cookies and Chips and Salsa and Fruit punch. They had a D.J. and Colored light over the dance floor. Frank, Brooklynn and Azure went in. I ran into Greg Beratis and talked to him for about 10 minutes. When I went in the 3 of them were having a great time. The girls were barefoot and dancing up a storm. Frank and My only real complaint was all of the songs were the latest nightclub hits. Blurred lines, Katy Perry etc.. Nothing for little girls. Not a single slow song was played all night.
I danced (as best as I could) with the 3 of them for about a half hour. All of the sudden Azure teared up and said her stomach hurt. We went out to the lobby and sat for quite a while. Most of the little girls wandered out and started playing with the big bouncy exercise balls that were everywhere. Pretty soon the whole dance room was empty.
As it was getting close to time to leave. I asked Azure if she would go in for one more dance with me. She said yes. I went in and asked the. D.J. If he would play a slow song. He said yes.
Azure and I danced. We had the whole place to our self. Colored lights and loud P.A.Balloons and all. The D.J. ended up putting on “I adore you” By Miley Cyrus. (not my first choice but oh well. Just noting it for the record)
I teared up as we danced. Azure saw me and teared up too. When the song was over her I gave her a kiss on the cheek and told her that she was my Princess. And that I love her more than the whole world. It was a good end to the night.
While we were at the dance Yudi played with Zarah. They had a really good time. Zarah loves Yudi and Yudi really loves Zarah too.
The next morning we went to Church. and then we had lunch at the Cafe in Cicero. Zarah ate a HUGE pancake all by herself. She was pretty proud of her self too. She made sure to show all of us her plate several times.
When we got back to the house Azure and Brooklynn worked on Mixed number multiplication math problems while Zarah and I played in the basement.
Around 4:30 P.M. We all went to 5 seasons again. But this time it was for Brooklynns Tennis Lesson.
Zarah, Azure and I played basketball. Courtney Picked them up around 6:30 P.M.
