Weekend with my daughters 9-13-13

Courtney didn’t get off work until 6:30 pm so Deeya couldn’t
pick up Zarah before coming home from work. Frank and I went to pick Zarah up
about 7:30 PM.  Courtney said she would
meet us at the Target in Westfield. I called her on the way and told her were
on our way. I went inside and saw the 3 of them walking towards the checkout.  Courtney bought  two blinking toothbrushes.  And a Minecraft  T-shirt. 

When we she was done checking out she asked me if I would
want to take Azure for the evening and then they would meet us tomorrow so that
Azure could go to her cousin Gracies party.  I said I would like that but I needed to make
sure Deeya was ok with meeting her tomorrow. Deeya was. Azure Kept saying to
Courtney that she wished she could go with me, but Courtney didn’t say anything
because she wanted to surprise her.

I took Zarah to Franks car and Courtney took Azure to her
car. Then Courtney drove her car over to ours and she got out. We stood and
talked for a Second. Then we said our good byes. I said to Azure “I love you”
she said “Goodbye”.  Then she turned
around to go to her car.  I said something else to
Azure but I can’t remember what it was. She turned around and she was crying. She said
“my eyes water when it is cold out”. It reminded me of how she used to say “My
stomach hurts” when she was scared. I felt so bad but I couldn’t tell what was
bothering her. Courtney whispered to me “what didn’t she say?” I said I don’t
know what is wrong with her. Then Courtney told her she could go with me.  She was happy about that. We got in the car.
We told Azure that we had to be quiet because Brooklynn was already in bed.

We got to the house and went down to the basement. Azure
started playing MineCraft. Zarah played with the kitchen and cooking toys and
made me several pretend meals. Then Zarah took a bath and played with some toys
in the tub. Then Azure and I played a couple of rounds of “operation” I made Zarah
a small bowl of Pistachios. She kept calling them Peanuts. I got her to try and
say Pistachio a couple of time. She did a good job pronouncing it. Then
Franklin was nice enough to make the girls some Macaroni and Cheese. 

We watched Barbie’s the Princess and the
Popstar movie.  I pulled the mattress out
in front of the Projection screen. We laid there and watched the movie. We all
3 fell asleep.  

Saturday September 14th 2013

Then Azure and I painted some
glass stones that are flat on the bottom and curved on top. You paint the
bottom and then after it dries you look at it from the curved side and it
magnifies the artwork.  Azure painted
about 6 of them. She also painted one for her cousin Gracie. I made one with a
smiley face and one with a yin and yang symbol on it. Beautiful ain’t they…..

Then Zarah and I colored some Disney characters pictures.

It was pretty cool outside this morning so we played inside
until 11:00 am and then we went outside. Azure rode the pink bike while Zarah
rode with me on the back of my bike. Zarah loved the bike ride but she told me
twice that her eyes were freezing. That was funny to me. We went around the path
about 4 times. I filmed Azure going around it once. She asked me if I would put
the video on YouTube.com. I told her I would.

  Then we went out in the big barn
where it was dark and set off some sparklers.  After that we walked over to the chicken coop
and we each threw handfuls of feed to the chickens. Azure and Zarah had fun.

 After that we came in the house, Zarah and Azure played with each other on the
carpet. They took turns crawling around with the other on their back. They were
cracking up so I filmed about 5 minutes of it.

A little later Zarah climbed up in a high chair and I got
out a veggie tray and the 3 of us ate veggies. 
Zarah said that she didn’t know what celery was. But she liked the
carrots. I ate the entire section of Broccoli.

Then we went into the bathroom and all 3 brushed our teeth.
I turned out the lights so the girls could watch their brushes light up.

After that we went downstairs and started watching Ratatouille.
Gary Wilson called me. While I was talking to him Britney came down the stairs.
I had forgotten she was coming over to get me to go to a meeting.

I took a shower (Zarah told me I smelled good afterwards). I
wore the Minecraft T-shirt. We left about 1:45 to meet Courtney. Yudi took us.
We met Courtney and her mother in the parking lot of Starbucks at 2:15 pm.
Missy gave me a bag of candy and a nice new light blue green T-Shirt. I wish Azure could have stayed all weekend, but we will make up for it.

We got home around 3:00 PM Deeya, Frank, and Brooklynn
arrived about 30 seconds before us. 
Frank and I worked on the Gray Mercedes and the Rolls Royce for a while
Brooklynn, Yudi  and Zarah played together and ate.

Later Zarah and Brooklynn came out in the back yard looking
for me. We walked over to the Pear trees in the back yard and picked some
pears. We all ate them. Franklin came over and ate one with us.

Then we all went out to the tennis court that Frank and I
made for Brooklynn this week. Frank and Brooklynn played while Zarah was the
ball girl. She would take Brooklynn a new ball after each volley was over.
Zarah did a good job helping and picking up the balls with the “Hopper.”

Then we all went down to the basement and watched the Disney
movie “ANNIE”. Luce had brought over a big pan of vegetable lasagna. It was
delicious. Courtney texted me at nine to ask me how we were doing.Frank, Deeya
and Brooklynn went to bed at 10:00pm.

I put a pull up on Zarah and made her some apple juice in
her hello kitty cup. We watched Sponge bob “seaside capers” until 11:00 and we
both fell asleep on the mattress in the basement.
