Brooklynn was aloud to stay up until 10:00 P.M. The girls played with their
animals had a lot of fun.
Azure and Zarah and I went to sleep around 11:00
SATURDAY OCTOBER 1st.
We got up around 8:00 a.m. the next morning Deeya and and Yudi were gone.
Brooklynn, Zarah, Azure and I went to Burger King for Breakfast.
It is cool and Rainy out today so Its going to be a play inside day. The
leaves are just starting to turn colors.
After we got back the girls sat in the Living room and watched “American
Idol” Fail Videos for a while.
Then the 3 of them made Homes for their Bounce Animals. At least I got my
moneys worth out of the animals.
Franklin made some Quiche for the girls to eat. Plus they had some left over
spaghetti.
The girls decided to try and make a Video using a song the liked. ( same girl
that did “Lost Boy”). They couldn’t decide how to progress so the idea
eventually lost steam. They started watching more Idol fail videos.
It was pouring down rain.
Deeya and Franklin went outside and sat under the
gazebo on the back porch for about and hour.
After they got done watching videos Azure said that she wanted to check our
her new Microscope.
Zarah wanted to play with play-doh. I set up the card table for them.
Brooklynn wanted to watch and old VHS Disney sing along video, I so I set
that up in the exercise room.
I made some Kraft mac and cheese for the girls.
We all took turns looking into the microscope, We looked at a Fly’s leg, Frog
Blood, salt, and a dead bug we found… and several other things. It was fun.
Azure seemed to like it. She went crazy over the “hairy fly leg”.
I took a pic of Azure with Bobby… He used to be bigger than her.
Azure drew a picture of her new obsession Miku. I set up my phone and did a
time lapse video of it. It turned out really good.
While the girls played I went through some of my old 4 track cassette songs
that I had written in the 80’s. I was having a blast hearing some of these
old songs and transferred them from Cassette to Cubase Digital 4 track.
Brooklynn started playing with a craft, where you melt bead together with an
iron after you make a design with a template. Eventually Azure and Zarah
joined in.
Brooklynn went to bed at 10:00 P.M. Azure fell asleep on the floor and Zarah
played with Legos. Eventually I pulled the mattress into the Exercise room
and we slept in there.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 2nd 2016
We got up around 8:15 a.m. I took a shower we needed to hit the road soon to
get to the RedBull Air Race. I had the girls pack up their stuff because we
wouldn’t be able to come back to the house today.
Azure and I listened to the Brian Tracy CD again while Zarah drew pictures in
the back.
Later I found out she drew all over the palms of her hands too. I
stopped at the Rickers a gas station at West 86th and 465. I put some gas in
the car. I got some strawberry flavored mini-donuts for the girls and I
heated up a 1.75 bean and cheese burrito for me.
We stopped at Courtney’s house She gave us a bunch of provisions to get us
through the race. “Smuckers PBJ’s, Chips, Apples, Water, Nutty bars… etc…
that was nice.
We were going to park at the house of someone Courtney knew. I decided that
the race was not going to be nearly as crowded as the Indy 500 ( and it
wasn’t ) So I would be able to park pretty close to the track.
We got behind a super long line of cars on the 30th street. Zarah fell
asleep. I took us about 45 minutes to go i mile.
At one point Azure said “Zarah are you asleep?” Zarah said “No I am takng a
nap”. Azure and I started laughting.
We finally made to a yard close to the track that said $10.00 parking. I
grabbed it because I only had $11.00 cash on me. Any closer it might go up to
$20.00.
We got in pretty quickly. It is very overcast with low hanging clouds but it
feels good to me. Azure and Zarah think that its cold.
The race started 45 minutes late due to the clouds. The race finally started.
It was interesting but really, after 34 minutes or so it just felt like we
were watching the same thing over and over.
We left our seats and went to the Bounce house and booths. The girl had fun
we stayed playing there for about an hour and them finally left the track.
I told the girls I would take them to a corn maze on west 86th street
“Brownsburgcornmaze.com”. I was heading east on 30th street trying to catch
my bearings. We finally hit Lafayette road so I made a left to head north.
We ended up at the Indiana something something mall. Can’t remember.
We went in there were lots of booths. There were probably 300 or more latin
people in there. Azure and Zarah and I were the ONLY Caucasians in there.
We walked the rows looking at the stuff in the booths for about 1/2 an hour.
The girls saw a couple of dresses with wings on the back that they want to
wear for Halloween. They want Yudi to bring them back here soon.
We headed north and made it to Keystone at the Crossing. We went into
Michaels, Books-a-Million, and Petsmart. That took another hour or so.
By now it was about 3:30. We went to the Corn maze. It was fun. We really did
get lost for about 20 minutes. It was hard to find our way out.

By the time
we got out of there it was about 5:30 and it was getting warm and sunny.
We headed to Missy and Danny’s. I stayed there and talked to them for about
45 minutes. Azure and Zarah got in Jessica’s golf cart as I was leaving.
I followed them through the neighborhood waving good bye.
I had a blast this weekend.
