The girls didn’t get back from Florida until Friday 10-22-16. So Courtney asked if we
could meet on Saturday instead. I spent Saturday Morning mowing the lawn and working
on the 3 driveway lights that stopped working at the same time. Courtney called me
around 12:30 and asked if we could meet at Starbucks around 1:30. I said “sure”.
Brooklynn and Yudi went to some stores to get School Supplies and Clothes. Deeya left
to take care of some errands.
I headed down 31 and stopped at Marsh I got a salad for lunch and garlic, onion, and
tomatoes for the 15 bean soup I am going to make later.
I got to the Starbucks at 12:40. They were not there yet so I drove over to the Shell
Station next door and put air in my Passenger Front Tire. Courtney arrived in the
White Expedition. She showed me the scrape on her hand that she got when she fell
dropping Alivia off at her house. Azure and Zarah told me about their trip to Florida.
Azure got frustrated when Zarah kept trying to tell the end of Azure’s stories.
I told Zarah to let Azure finish. Zarah said… “She does it to me”
When we finally arrive at Deeya’s Yudi and Brooklynn were still gone but Deeya had just gotten home.
We went into the Kitchen. Deeya was making something to eat. Azure told me that she was hungry. They made a couple of PBJ’s.
Deeya asked Azure how her trip was.
The girls started playing in the basement, But it was
such a nice fall day and I was working out in the yard, I asked them to try and play
out in the yard for at least an hour.
It’s going to be cold and gloomy soon so you need to try and get some fresh air while
there is still some warm weather. I had the golf cart out using it to move tools and
ladders around.
I told them that they could each drive the golf cart around the trail if they were
each very careful. I sat in the middle holding their “American Girl” Doll while they
drove around the trail.
After a couple of time around I told them that they could take it by themselves for a
couple of laps if they were very careful. They did. I could hear them screaming and
laughing all the way around the trail. I smiled to myself and felt very blessed to
hear them laughing. I thanked God for being so good to me. Then at the end Azure stopped a little to fast and Zarah hit her head. I don’t think it really hurt hur but she cried anyway. I took that opportunity to explain to Azure and Zarah that more teenagers are killed in car wrecks than by any other accident .I told them that you can’t clown around while operating any moving vehicle.
After that they pulled the doll around the trail in an Red Ryder Wagon.
I showed them this crazy puffy fungus that felt like a marshmallow. I continued to work on the Lights on the driveway until about 6:00 p.m. Yudi and Brooklynn finally got home.
They spent a long time creating a fashion show for their American girl dolls. And then wrote up an invitation for me to watch the show. I was the only one in attendance.

I made a cheese pizza with Pizza Sauce, Shredded Cheese, and a pre-made crust.
There really wasn’t anything to drink in the house at the time, so I made Hot Chocolate for the girls. They liked it.
We watched the Universal Pictures Classic “Dracula” ….I was shocked when I realized that in 15 years this movie would be 100 years old. Wow. I loved this movie when I was 12-13 years old. I would watch it on “Sammy Terry”. ….
Zarah fell asleep with her head on my shoulder about half way through. Azure fell asleep soon after. Brooklynn and I were the only two that made it through the whole movie.
We got up early the next morning and went to Cicero to Harbor Shores Church. Then after that we went to La Cascada in Cicero.
After we got back to Deeya’s the 3 of them left for a while. Me and the girls went to the lake house. I mowed, shut off the water, and sprayed weeds, while the girls read books and played with dolls.
The girls played some math games and a sundae making game. When Brooklynn got back the girls played out in the woods. I worked on the lights again for a while. Having a problem finding the short.
Around 5:30 Brooklynn went to Awana. We left about 6:15 to meet Courtney at 6:45 at Starbucks. We stopped at Dairy Queen at 32 and 31. The girls got an Oreo and a Cookie dough small Blizzard. Courtney was there in the expedition when we arrived. She asked us what we did. I told her we watched the Dracula Movie. Man… the weekend went fast.
