I have been both excited and apprehensive about keeping both my daughters after such a lot break.
I miss both of the them terribly and hope it doesn’t take long to reconnect with Zarah.
Deeya and I went to Kroger and bought Crave Cereal and Yogurt and Applesauce, and Choc Milk and Mac and Cheese and Spaghetti, and Fish Sticks ( per Courtney )
We Met Courtney at the Starbucks at 96th and Meridian at 6:30 PM
Zarah put on a Jasmine outfit and Watched a Disney Dance along video on the projection screen. ( Complete with her magic wand )
Deeya Frank and Brooklynn went to Cincy for a tennis match around 8:00 P.M.
Zarah and Azure and I played “Cooking” and “Restaurant” With Brooklynns toys.
We ate watermelon. I texted a few Photos to Courtney. We watched Thumbilina. We Stayed up until midnight. We slept in the “fort” I made in the basement. I has a “Disney Princess” sheet for a ceiling. Zarah liked that. I didn’t sleep too well. Azure elbowed me in the face twice.
08-17-13 I got up at 6:38 a.m. I let the girls sleep, After they got up and we ate we went outside. We played on the trampoline.
It was hilarious when we were all on it at the same time. I sent a couple photos to Courtney. She wrote back “why is Azure wearing the same clothes as last night?”…. Here we go I thought!!…..Then we went over to the “Jungle Gym” and got on slide and swing. I took several more photos
to the garage. I aired up tires so that we could ride bikes. I couldn’t figure out what to do with Zarah and the bike situation. I ended up pulling Zarah in a Red Ryder wagon while Azure rode beside us on a pink girls bike. We went around Deeya’s path a couple of times. I found my Johnson Guitar amp in the Barn.
I also found a little plastic tricycle for Zarah to ride I brought them up to the house. Azure and Zarah rode around the Driveway while I sat outside and cleaned my amp with upholstery cleaner.
I found that I am pretty tired today. Kind of a rough day. Courtney is complaining about stuff. ” Don’t call my Mom for anything concerning the Girls” Has Azure brushed her teeth?” What are the girls wearing?” Stuff like that. Zarah can be a real whiner. and Does not give up until she gets her way. Azure has grown two years older since I last saw her and is beginning to phone and text and to say “I am bored” ( even tho she really isn’t )
Apparently Courtney gave Azure a new phone when she got home from her 1st visit with me. She didn’t mention anything to me prior to this new phase.
We went back in the house and watched Toy Story 3. and Shrek. I cooked a large “California” Cheese Pizza for dinner at 6:30 pm. We sat at the Kitchen table held hands and said grace. We had a nice dinner and I served small servings of vanilla ice cream afterwards.
Later we played with the Zhu Zhu “Habitrail” Azure said she wants one for her Birthday ( awww my sweet little girl ) ……Make me smile and tear up at the same time.
Later Zarah had to got to the bathroom. She wants me to go with her each time. This time while I was waiting she was looking up at me and I took my hand and did the “I got your nose” thing. Then she swung her arm out and acted like she grabbed something and said ” I got your eyes… And I threw them in the toilet!! ) I busted out laughing…what a little character. I later they took baths got in their pajamas and I read “Camila the Cupcake fairy” Book to them in our “Fort” they really loved it.
Zarah had a light up wand with her and after I turned out the lights for bed. she showed the wand light on the ceiling of the fort. It is a pink disney princess sheet . She told us all about the ones she liked. We slept in the fort ( I had to sleep at the foot of the mattress. ) my two girls are bed hogs even tho they are small.
8-18-13 I woke up at 5:30 am. Started watching “Programming Introduction” I watched it for about 30 minutes or so when Azure got up. She crawled up on my lap with “Bobby Bunny”. Zarah was right behind her and did the same. We sat quietly in the dim TV light and didn’t say anything for a little while. Just hanging out. Being little girls. I was a happy papa. Eventually I put in a sesame street educational video “ernie goes to the doctor” we had cereal for breakfast. At about 10 am we went outside again. I found a toddler bike seat attachment out in the garage. I put it on the back of the “Bicycle built for two ) . The 3 of us rode around on it. we had a blast. When we went down hills we pretended we were on a roller coaster. We were all 3 laughing and loving. ( they didn’t want to stop even after dad was wore out. ) thats o.k. we will be doing it again
I made lunch and we watched “HOP” Zarah and I played with play-doh on the floor, and Azure played with Barbies while movie was on. Azure took a pic of us.
At 3:05 P.M. Yudi came in they played with her for a little while, and I took a shower. They went out in the backyard. Zarah, Azure, Judy and Brooklynn played Soccer.
They had fun. They got wore out.Zarah kept saying “I wonned, I wonned”. Later we went in the basement and blew up the bounce house. That was super fun for a few but it didn’t last long because Zarah ran into Azures shin and hit a “bug bite”.
Courtney came over at about 6:30. She brought me some new clothes from her mother and had me try them on. That was very nice of them to do that for me. The 4 girls watched “home alone” in the basement.
Courtney told them to get ready to go. They wanted to stay and were bummed about having to leave.
Courtney sad that Zarah and Azure wouldn’t be over next weekend because they has something fun planned. She said I could keep them for the 4 days of labor day weekend if I want. I said ……………………..Absolutely.
