I went to help Scott with his gear at the Melody INN of Friday Night. Plus I was meeting some guys that want to put a band together using my originals as the songs.

Courtney and I decided that I would come over to Brownsburg around 4:30 on Saturday and Trick or Treat with the girls in Brownsburg.
I spent most of Saturday going to Goodwills all over Indianapolis trying to find some stuff to make a pirate outfit. The girls were going to be pirates and I wanted to Surprize them.
I didn’t have much luck. But Frank ended up finding a big pirate shirt and some boot covers in his closet. That saved the day.
Left to got to Brownsburg around 4:00 P.M. I got to Missy and Dannys at around 5:05 P.M.
I sat in the kitchen and talked to Missy for a few. Azure and Zarah and Grace and Carter were also there.
Dan and Jessie showed up a few minutes later. Then Courtney and Tim and Remi showed up.
Then Mindy came in. I haven’t seen her in over 4 years. It was nice talking to her. I congratulated her on the new Grand babies.
Then Jessica showed up dressed as a pirate too.
Missy made dinner for everyone. Chili for everyone, and Cheese stuffed pasta for me. It was very good.
We all talked about all kinds of stuff and took pics of the kids in their outfits. Remi was not having any of it.
I couldn’t decide whether or not to dress up but I finally thought what the heck. I went outside and snuck my outfit up to the upstairs bathroom. I put it on. It wasn’t spectacular but I figured it would impress a 6 year old and an 11 year old.
Azure came upstairs and saw me before I was ready. She kinda ruined my surprise but oh well. She liked it.
I went downstairs to find Zarah. I couldn’t wait to get her reaction. I didn’t see her when I walked down to the kitchen. I was walking towards the door to the garage when Zarah came in behind me. I heard her say to Mindy; “Who is that?”….. I turned around and Zarah had this bewildered.look on her face. She stared at me for the the longest time and then she said “Go look in a mirror” ( Like I didn’t know what I looked like). I started busting out laughing. She took my hand and said “Come Here” she lead me to a full length mirror and the put me in front of it and said “Thats you!”.….. TOTALLY AWESOME…. I loved it.

Tricker treaters started arriving about that same time. We went out on the front porch and Missy tried to take pics of all five grand kids sitting together. Remi still wasn’t into it.
Dan sat on the porch in coveralls and a silver skull mask with a machete to scare all the kids. It
was just getting dark as Azure and Zarah and I set off. It was starting to sprinkle a little and the
temp was about 60 or so.Jessie and Jessica were having a Halloween party at their house. Several cars and golf carts in the yard.
We went to 15- 20 houses. Azure and Zarah knew the neighborhood hood really well and even got us back to Missy and Dannys when we were done. I was completely lost…lol.
We got back around 8:00 P.M. Then the girls each opened 3 gifts… Never heard of that one
before but I am sure the girls loved it. Beanie Boo’s and Footie Leopard Print P.J.s.
We said our goodbyes. Missy gave me the rest of the dinner she made for me and 3 1/2 gallons of Chocolate Milk.
We got back to the house around 9:30. I didn’t notice for about 2 hours but Frank and Deeya and Brooklyn were not home. The girls watched Hocus Pokus on the Mattress in the basement. Azure drew pictures for a while. Zarah was snooozin.
The girls fell asleep around midnight. I fell asleep around 1:00 between them on the mattress.
We got up pretty early on Sunday. I fixed cereal for the girls and Chocolate milk. The girls painted water color pictures almost all day. They did super good.
Zarah wanted to play Azure’s blue guitar. I knew that would cause an argument. So I got out a
brown 3/4 size guitar that I was gonna surprise Azure with for Christmas. But I figured what the heck.
I told Azure, ” I bought this for you for Christmas, But It would be nice of you to let Zarah play it
once in a while.” . She agreed.

I went to Burger King around 2:30 and got 3 Kids meals for Azure, Zarah and Buku. Around 3:30
the girls got all dressed up and we went to “Trunk or Treat” at Harbour Shores Church. The
called it the “Fall Festival” this year. The weather was WAY NICER than last year.
I shook hand with the pastor on the way in and talked to him for a few minutes.
We signed up for a Door Prize Drawing. As we walked around outside Azure kept asking about the drawing. She wondered what it was. She kept talking about it and I couldn’t figure out why she was so interested.
Finally as we were talking she told me she thought you would win a prize for the best drawing of a door and she wanted to try and draw it……. My heart just instantly flooded…I felt so much love for my sweet innocent little girl. I hugged her and said “I love you sooooo much”…. I gently explained to her what it really meant. She smiled a sheepish smile and we both laughed. It was awesome.
We visited all of the outside “Booths” and then went in and played the games.

After that we waited in line for the hayride. Then we went in the bounce house and slide.
Then we Ate Hot Dogs, Cupcakes, Potato Chips and Hot Chocolate.
At 6:30 we left and drove Buku back home. We gathered up the girls stuff and left.
We went into Wal-mart in Westifield and got some money orders. We met Courtney at Starbucks at 7:50 P.M.
I showed Courtney all of Azures drawings and paintings she made over the weekend.
I put Zarah in the car and she gave me a hug. She refused to let go of me. This went on for a couple of minutes.
I was sorry to see them go. I wished we could have had one more night together. But Monday is almost here.I am beat, But I had a great time this weekend with them.
