Gracie and the girls

Friday 07-28-2017

I stopped by Wal-Mart after work at 86th and Michigan Road and picked up some muchies for the weekend for the girls for camping and breakfast. Tim and Courtney waited for me in the Costco parking lot. They were in Tims police pickup. Courtney got out and brought me the girls clothes and Azure’s golf clubs.

As soon as we got to the house Azure wanted to practice gold. We hacked around for about an hour while Zarah and Grace played outside and bounced on the trampoline.

The Girls watched Nick and ate lunchables.

The girls watched “Rock Dog”. it was pretty good. Azure played guitar and wrote some words for a song. Grace and Zarah soon wanted to play guitars too. So I got a a 3/4 size strat that I have for them to play.

After the movie got over I played to Top forty songs and the girls danced around for about an hour and got really wore out. The girls slept on the mattress in the basement and I crashed in my room. They woke up before me. Zarah came in and laid down with me around 8:30 the next morning.

The girls made cereal for breakfast Saturday morning.

The girls had fun with the massaging chair.

The girls watched a movie Saturday morning while Mowed the yard and weed wacked the yard.

Around 3:00 azure and I worked on a music video. She sang and played “Lost boy”. I shot it several times from Several different angles. I am going to splice them together to make a video.

I tried to get the Drone going so that I could get some Aerial shots. but it wouldn’t recognize the SD card… grr that was frustrating but we’ll just have to do with what we have.

Around 5:30 we started our mini-camping trip.

Azure and I had veggie dogs and Zarah and Grace had regular hot dogs.

Around 9:00 the girls went inside the house and made tattoos.

I made the old fashioned Jiffy-Pop popcorn. Didn’t really turn out that great.

An old friend stopped by and hung out.

I made sure that they were super careful….but they like lighting long sticks.

We hit hay around midnight. The girls tried to watch “Nessie” but fell asleep about 1/3 of the way in.

Sunday Morning. The weather is perfect. I love the morning air when I sleep outside.

Some one needs a bath…lol

We went in the house and made “Funnel cakes” We didn’t have powdered sugar so we used Icing…They really liked them.

Courtney came to pick them up around 5:00. She showed me some video  of the Barry Manilow concert she went to this weekend. And then she snapped this pic of us before we loaded up their stuff and drove off. It was a really good weekend. We all had a lot of fun.
