I had texted Courtney a few days before Friday to let her know that I wanted to take the girls to Harbour Shores Church for a Glow Party on Friday night. I asked her if I could meet her a little earlier that usual. She said Ok. We met at Costco. I got there about 5:30 and waited. I listened to the Radio for a while. Courtney and time showed up about 5:50. Courtney gave the girls bags and some present for Brooklynn’s 11th Birthday. The girls and I jumped in the car and headed towards Cicero.
It was 50 – 55 degrees out winds up to 50 MPH
Azure showed me her spell book that she has been making.
Zarah said she had a loose tooth
Zarah said she had a sticker for Brooklynn
Azure showed me the new book she was reading from her school library.
Deeya called me and said that she and Brooklynn were at Barnes and Nobles in Westifield.
I told her I would just drive there and pickup Brooklynn on the way to Church.
After we picked Brooklynn up I tried to get the directions from SIRI.
I was having no luck. Azure tried and then all the girls had some laughs at Siri’s expense.
Brooklynn sat in the back seat, and made an American Girl dance…. Azure and Zarah were cracking up all the way to the glow party.
We got there a few minutes before dark. at around 6:30
There were cookies and chips and drinks and games and music and face painting and a mini-golf. and it was all glow in the dark. The girls loved it.
It was pretty dark in there and Zarah took off running and collided with another little boy that was running in the opposite direction. She hit her cheekbone on his head. It hurt her pretty bad. I felt so bad for her. She is always so happy and this completely made her quiet for most of the rest of the party. I felt so bad for her.

After that even when all of the kids joined around to hit a Wubble Bubble around in the air. Zarah wanted to go play with the Play-doh by herself…..
Zarah wanted to wash her hands after getting them all dirty with play-doh and cookies.
The Girls played with Brooklynn’s Fashion Design Book.
Brooklynn opened the Presents that Courtney and the girls had bought her for her 11th Birthday.
The girl bought Brooklynn an ICEE machine. She was ready to try it out.
After Brooklynn went to bed Azure and Zarah watched “Ella Enchanted”…. and the some of “the Book of Life” But they both fell asleep.
Early the next morning Azure started working on “Fir Elise” again.
The girls played with Play-doh. And made a bakery
Zarah wrote “Azure and Zarah’s Bakery”
Azure made me a piece of Play-doh Pie.
Breakfast Saturday Morning.
The girls wanted to play outside, but Courtney didn’t send any destructible shoes.
So we went to Wal-mart. I immediately found some “Converse” shoes for $3.00 Dollars.
AWESOME!!!!!!!
As we got back to Cicero we stopped at the Speedway.
The girls each got a slushee to drink.
I got a Monster Energy drink…. When I popped it open
Zarah said…. “Thats cool…. and Kinda Weird…. I laughed….
I couldn’t believe how nice it was outside. I checked my IPhone
72 Degrees… I’ll take it….
We rode the trails around Deeya’s house for a while. Wow I am out of shape. Got to get back in the swing of things.
Azure and Zarah took a “float” down to the creek against my wishes.. I didn’t really try and stop them. I just didn’t want them to step in it and get cold and sick.
They made a teeter totter and had a lot of laughs playing on it.
After we went back inside we made a “Homemade” pizza together.
the girls rolled out the dough and put the ingredients on it.
they had a great time doing it.
We called GG Down in Florida and wished her a Happy Birthday.
Missy was down there also. They said it was 78 degrees there.
We told them that it was 72 Degrees here.
I had rented the new “Toy Story” movie……ugh… it was about 30 minutes long….rip off
the girls Really liked the pizza that they made. I could tell.
After the rip off Toy story movie was over we went back down to the basement
Azure practiced piano while Zarah played Wizard101 on the laptop.
Zarah made an Ice Cream Stand for the “American Girl Dolls”
Azure is determined to become a fairy or a mermaid. She is working on her book of spells.
I had told the girls several times that we would make a treat after dinner. I LOVED root beer floats when I was little. Azure and Zarah had never heard of them before. I went down to the gas station and bought the necessary ingredients.
THEY LOVED IT.. I could tell. It was a great memory for me to pass this along to my kids.
It was a treat for me when i was little. I can still remember it…
After the party died down the girls laid on the mattress and watched
“Casper” and “Malificent”… they fell asleep before the double feature was over.
SUNDAY… I woke up around 7:30… Zarah was tagging along right behind me..
I made her a bowl of cereal….
Later in the morning I went out to the barn and fed the Chickens. I looked around in my stuff for an old keyboard that I had. I found it and it worked. I told Azure that she could keep that one at home and leave the big one here so she could practice during the school week.
Azure and zarah spent 30 to 45 Minutes in the bathroom cleaning up their new Wal-mart shoes.
Azure has been really interested magic lately … as I was when I was a child.
We watched a “Harry Potter” movie. I could tell Azure really liked it.
When the movie got over they went out to play in the yard.
It is quite a bit colder than yesterday but the direct sunlight makes it feel in the 60’s

Azure made an “Ice Cream stand” out in the woods. Zarah and I drove a car up to the edge and placed our orders.
The girls figured out how to make a teeter totter out in the front yard. They had a blast.. I could tell.
Brooklynn cleaned out her Bedroom and gave Azure some Bun covers that Ballerinas wear.

The girls had more of the pizza that they had made the previous night and some of Brooklynns Birthday cake for dinner.
Around 7:30 we got our bags packed and rolled out.
As I got in the car I told Azure “Merry Christmas” and tossed her my old Itouch the Missy had bought me in 2009…. She was super exited.
We made our way to Wal-mart in Westfield to get money orders.
The girls wanted to look at toys and electronics…… Zarah trying out the BEATS headphones…
We made it to Starbucks two minutes late. Courtney gave me a coffee, we talked for a minute. I kissed and hugged the girls and made my way back to Cicero…………………………
