I met Courtney at Costco at 6:00 P.M. I had a few snacks in a bag in the back
seat for the girls. Azure had her little bunny that I gave her last Sunday. She
said that it looks like “Bobby Bunny”. A big blue rabbit that Azure took every
where she went from age 1 to 9.
I was playing a Zig-Ziglar CD in the car. Azure was asking me about it. Zarah
was eating her cookie and “pringles” single pack, and already asking if we
could stop somwhere and get a treat. I was like, really, already?.
She had a dollar bill she said that she wanted to give it to me to have. I told her
that was sweet. I told her I would hold it for her. I asked the girls about how
school was this week. They both said “Good!” at the same time. That was nice.
Azure was saying that her ears and throat hurt.
It is a beautiful day. 75-80 degrees and no clouds. I told the girls we have a jam
packed weekend. Zarah said that she wanted to camp this weekend. I told them
that I wanted to start a garden with them this weekend. So I said lets stop at
Lowes on the way home to get some seeds and look at Riding Lawn mowers.
I looked at mowers while they picked out seed packets. Zarah asked if she
could get a treat at Lowes. I told her they don’t sell that kind of stuff at Lowes.
She immedietely started begging me to stop at Wal-Mart. Ugh…She is relentless
sometimes.
As soon as we got to the house Brooklynn cut up a lemon and added some
honey to the juice to try and make Azure’s throat feel better. Then the girls
went out to the woods to play in their new “House”
The girls played down in the Basement and watched the first Harry Potter
movie until Brooklynn had to go to bed. I started to make a YOUTUBE Channel
for Azure. I found a strange email in Azure’s Gmail box. I forwarded it to
Courtney. The three of us crashed out around 10:00 p.m. on the mattress in the
basement.
The next morning I got up around 7:00 am I asked Zarah if she wanted to go to the
gas station and get a donut. she said yes.
Zarah picked out a donuts for her and Azure (Krispee Kreme).
After that I drove over the lake house. I mowed and weed wacked and blew the grass off the drive way. I also stopped at Auto Zone in Noblesville and had the Riding Lawn Mower battery checked.
He said it was good, it just needed to be charged.
I got back to Deeya’s around 9:30 A.M.
Brooklynn hadTumbling and Soccer this morning. After Deeya and Brooklynn left at 11:00 I
told the girls I needed try and mow the yard at Deeya’s house.
I let the Chickens out of the coop and fed them. I started the mower and
started mowing, but every 5 minutes or so it would die. I couldn’t figure out
what it was. It seemed like it wasn’t getting fuel. So I pulled the fuel filter out
and let some of the gas pour out. I put it back together and it started working
fine. Zarah wanted to help me mow. So I put her on my lap for about 15
minutes.
After I got done mowing I told the girls that I needed to go to Home Depot and
rent a roto-tiller for the garden. I knew that they woudn’t really want to go with
me so I told them that we would stop and get Ice Cream somewhere. They
agreed.
We went to the Home Depot in Noblesville. They told me that they didn’t have a
rental department at this one. I would have to go to Castleton… Ugh..
We went through the drive through. They turned Azure Smore Blizzard upside
down before handing it to us. Azure did the same thing. Zarah asked if they
glued the Ice Cream into the cup….lol. I Didn’t get anything and Zarah wanted
an Ice Cream Drum stick from the gas station. So we drove to the gas station
beside the Huntington Bank in downtown Noblesville. She and i went in and
each got a Vanilla and Chocolate Drumstick.
Just as we were leaving Deeya phoned me and asked if I was at the house. I
told he no. She said that Brooklynn forgot her Soccer Shoes and her game was
starting in about 45 minutes. I told her that I would go get them and bring them
to her.
We picked up the shoes and drove back to Noblesville to the field where
Brooklynn Game was. It was very very crowded. It was started to get very warm
out too. Suntan warm. Zarah asked me over and over if we could stay and
watch the game. I was reluctant because I had to much to do this weekend. But
Zarah kept asking and I knew that Brooklynn would be glad to see them there
so I said O.K.
A few minutes later Deeya gave me some refreshment money and said that she
had to leave. She and Frank were going to the Symphony Downtown at the
Hilbert Theater so she needed to go get ready.
I left and went and got Drinks for everyone at the gas station. I got back just as
Brooklynn’s second game was getting over. They were all glad to get cold
drinks. I dropped Yudi off at her car and the 3 girls rode with me.
When we got back to the house Azure and Brooklynn started playing together
and riding bikes. It was obvious that they didn’t want Zarah to be a part of it.
Then the 3 of them took a bath in the Jacuzzi got dressed and went back
outside.
Azure and Brooklynn were still trying to play with out Zarah. Yudi played with
her some but I could tell that Zarah was sad that she couldn’t play with Azure
and Buku . Finally I told Azure that she doesn’t come over just to play with
Brooklynn she comes over to hang out with me.
I know Zarah is kind of bossy and times but she is very loving and doesn’t
understand why Azure and Brooklynn want to play alone sometimes. It put me
in a difficult spot and I was sort of Irritated by it. I was feeling sorry for Zarah
also.
Finally I asked Zarah if she wanted to go with me to have pizza at Pizza King
just me and her. She said yes. We stopped at the Mcdonalds in Cicero and I let
Zarah pickout a movie from RedBox. She had already seen every kids movie
they had except for the NEW Peanuts movie. So she got that one. We drove to
Pizza King and picked up the Pizza. Zarah asked if we could eat at the park, I
said sure. Then after she ate two pieces she asked if she could play on the
playground I said yes.
I sat in the car and watched Zarah play. A few minutes later a fire engine roared
past me. I look over and I could see black smoke about a mile and a half away.
Zarah and I drove in the direction of the smoke. A house was up in flames and
fire was shooting out of the roof. I felt bad for the people that lived there.
I told Zarah that this is what happens when you play with fire. Afer we got back
to the house. I tried to get on with everyone having fun. Azure and Brooklynn
said that they saw a Coyote on the trail so that put the chickens back in the
Coop. They also said that found an animal skull and ten dollars.
As it was getting near dark we all went down in the basement to finish watching
Harry Potter “the Socerrers stone”.
Brooklynn had to go to bed around 9:30. Azure and Zarah watched the Peanuts
movie. I was shocked at how much they were laughing at it. I don’t really
remember being entertained by them when I was little. The girls fell asleep
around 11:00 I stayed up doing nothing for another hour or so and then went
to sleep between the two of them.
I got up around 7:30. Zarah went with me run to Castleton to Pickup a Roto-
Tiller. I bought her a blue bug juice and put gas in the CRV at the Speedway
down road. Then we headed for Castleton. We went inside the Home Depot and
rented the tiller. 35.00 for 4 hours. Azure stayed at the house and worked on
the 3 paintings for Missy. Azure was very frustrated at herself and cried about
it. I tried to inspire her and get her going. Finally we made some progress.
on 96th Street I saw that Q-Doba was open. We went in and I got this. It was
pretty good. Zarah kept saying that it was gross. As we drove back I passed
the Potters Covered Bridge I decided to stop and check it out. Zarah wasn’t
really into it. But wow what a perfect morning.
We eventually made it back to the house. I spent an hour or two tilling the
garden. Zarah and Azure hung outside with me. Then around noon I realized
my 4 hours of rental was up. We drove back to Home Depot and dropped the
unit off. Zarah signed the Credit Card Screen “Zarah” Azure asked if she could
sign next time. I said yes.
The three of us stopped at Potters Bridge again. We didn’t stay very long
though because I wanted to Plant the seeds today. It was about 80 degrees and
we had no A.C. so I treated the girls to Dairy Queen again.
We got back to the house and worked in the hot sun to plant the seeds. Roger
was there hanging some blinds in the living room. He snapped a couple of
pictures of the 3 of us. We planted Carrots, Watermelon, Tomatoes, Spinach,
and Garlic. I got the garlic that was left over from Blue Apron. I decided to
plant the flower seeds up around the house later. The girls rode bikes and
explored the woods.
Frank worked both Saturday and Sunday. When he got home on Sunday he had
a box with 6 baby chicks in it. The 3 girls took turns holding them.
I cleaned a cage for them. I turned the water on to the barn that had been shut
off all winter so that I could water our new garden.
We were exhuasted and hot so we got Slushies… Yes, it looks like I sugared
them out this weekend. Gonna have to reign that in a little.
After we got back to the house Azure wanted to give me a tour of the woods
and all of the things that she had discovered. A swing made of Vines. the
animal skull, (Probably a squirrel) and a deer trail.
Then at 5:30 Yudi asked the girls if they wanted to go to Awana with Brooklynn.
I hadn’t really planned on it, but I did promise Zarah last week that she could
go. So I called Courtney and she said O.K.
I left a few minutes later to go get Money Orders from Wal-Mart in Noblesville.
They said they started new hours this week and now closed at 6:00 p.m. on
Sundays. That was aggrevating. I drove to Harbour Shores to get the girls at
7:00. One of the guys working there helped me get them out of the classes
early. Yudi showed up and walked with me.
Since they were beginning to be regulars the guy wanted to take thier pictures
partly for security I am sure. That threw us behind a little .
We drove towards Starbucks at 96th and Meridian. Zarah kept saying she was
hungry and then she fell asleep.
Courtney and Tim were there waiting in the Expedition.
I hugged and kissed my youngn’s We had a great time this weekend.
I was hot and wore out. I went to Applebees in Westfield and had the 4.00
