The CEO of Hoosier Equipment Brokers gave me his two tickets to the Colts game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
I offered them to Tim and Courtney because I really couldn’t think of anyone to go with me. I didn’t want to have to pick between Zarah and Azure either.
Courtney said that Azure had choir that night so I should just take Zarah. I said “OK. Good Idea”.
Tim dropped Zarah off at my work around 5:20 or so…. Zarah and I headed downtown on I-70.
I listened to Hammer and Nigel on WIBC while Zarah played a game on my IPHONE. Hammer and Nigel were broadcasting live from Georgia Street so I thought we would go there before the game and hang out.
We found a parking spot relatively quickly.
As soon as we got out of the car Zarah said that she was starving. There was a pizza place just across the street from where we parked, so I said lets go in here and see if they sell pizza by the slice.
Luckily they did. Zarah go a slice of cheese pizza and a pepsi… It was $3.00 on the nose. In downtown indy???? amazing…
We headed over to Georgia Street.
Zarah was amazed at the “Statue” by the entrance. She put a dollar in her bucket.
My good guitar playing buddy Orvis Kirkman was playing on Georgia Street ( Blue Shirt) They sounded pretty good. He noticed me just when I snapped the pic
The seat we had were 7th row from the field and had a face value of $148.00 each….
Brought out a huge flag and a finalist or winner, I can’t remember from “The Voice” sang the National Anthem.
Zarah Looking at the Game program.
We walked around the whole stadium for a while and Zarah wanted Cotton Candy.
We left just after 1/2 time. It was several dogs catching Frisbee’s. I decided to just take Zarah home with me and drop her off at home before her bus came.
We watched about 1/2 of “Annie” Zarah never gets tired of that movie…..Finally she said “I better go to sleep now” We both fell asleep immediately.
We got up at 6:00 I took a quick shower and then Zarah took a quick bath. We headed out as it was just starting to get light out at 6:45 ish….
We stopped at Philly Steak and Cheese off of 86th and 465 on the westside. I got Zarah bacon, French Toast and an OJ in the drive through.
We arrived at Courtney’s at 7:30. Courtney met us at the door. I clocked in at work at 8:00 on the DOT… wooot.
