Got up around 8:00 and got ready to go see Azure’s ballet performance. I was super excited. It is kinda rainy out. I had to use Siri to find out where I was going. Courtney asked me to save a bunch of seats when I got there.
I walked into the school and saw Azure right away. She looked so happy, content, and cute. My heart swelled when she waved and ran over to give me a hug. We talked for a minute and I went to find a seat.
I saved about 8 seats for Missy and Danny and Alivia, and Remy, and Grace, and Zarah.
When it was Azure’s turn to perform I turned on the video camera, I watched for about 30 seconds and the tears just burst out of me… I almost couldn’t control myself. I put my face in my arm and shoulder to try and not make a scene. finally I got it together. I watched, holding my breadth….. with so much amazement and pride and love that, She was butterfly, a living, floating graceful angel…… Everything that is good on this planet. I was watching her dream come to life and, at the same time seeing my dreams for her come to life as well………..One of the best moments of my life.

The girls we supposed to come over this weekend but Deeya was concerned with Brooklynn finals. So she asked me if I could trade weekend so that the Azure and Zarah wouldn’t be a distraction to Brooklynns studies. But I really wanted to help Azure work on her guitar playing and singing for her presentation at School next week.
After the Ballet, Azure and Zarah said that they wanted to got with me for a while. So I said Ok. Lets go get some lunch…… Then eventually I decided to just get an inexpensive hotel room with a pool.
We went to Wendy’s and had lunch… and then drove to Courtneys to get Clothes and Swimsuits.
I found a Motel 6 down in Greenwood that had an Indoor pool for 65.00 bucks a night. The girls were ecstatic to get a room……
After swimming girls took showers and we ate.
Azure and I spent about 2 hours working on her timing, and singing tone.. There were a few tears during the lesson… But I genuinely saw a lot of improvement. And by the time I convinced her of that… there were smiles all around.
We fed the ducks some bread from our window.
The girls swam the next morning… The T.V’s didn’t work and the Ice machine was broken… and Finally there were no clean towels at the pool…. CHEAP CHEAP… We left the hotel around 11:30 Hopefully it didn’t collapse…We headed down to Circle Center to walk around for a while
We went up to the top to the Arcade. I a bought about 25 dollars in tokens.
The girls got a few trinkets and Azure was sweet and gave Zarah the Fidget spinner that she wont to Azure…. Azure wanted a Fidget spinner, so we went to Mass Ave toys…
Only to find out that they moved to 54th and the Monon in March…We drove up there and went past the old house at 616 e. 51st street. Zarah always tells me she remembers living there.
We drove around broad ripple and couldn’t find the toy store. So after about 40 minutes we gave up. I told Azure I would find her a Spinner soon.
We went to Missy and Dannys. They were working out in the yard. I hung out for about 1/2 hour. The girls did synchronized cartwheels as I left ..
