Thursday December 31st, 2015
Went over to Scott and Elainas house around 6:30 P.M.
We packed up overnight stuff and guitars and amps.
We drove down to Trafalgar to Dina and Ryans house.
We got there around 9:00 P.M.
Dina and Ryan and I talked about Deeya and Frank for a
while. Ryan used to work with Frank at St. Francis. They
both still work there but at different locations now.
Dina and I talked alot about “Blue Apron” they have been
getting it for a long time and love it. I told her we had been
getting it for about a year.
Dina had made a lot of stuff for vegetarian Tacos.
We went down in the basement and we all fired up some
guitars and basses. Most of the guys at the party were
musicians. We had a drum set but we didn’t set it up.
I played 3 or 4 songs myself and then one of the other guys
picked up a bass and joined in. Everyone took turns on the
instruments.
We jammed until close to time for the ball drop. Then we
turned on the T.V. and rung in the new year.
After that we put in my “Osolomeo” Video on the T.V.
We played music until about 3:30 A.M. I was tired by then
and crashed in one of the bedrooms.
Dina Grows the food for her Rabbit out in the back yard.
I got up at 7:30 A.M. We sat in the basement and talked for
about an hour. Eventually Dina made a Veggie Breakfast for
everyone.
Then we went out and helped her feed the Pig, chickens and
Donkeys that she and Ryan have.
We left around noon. After I left Scott and Elainas house, I
called Deeya. Azure had stayed all night with Deeya and
Frank and Brooklynn at a Hotel.
They were downtown at the Crowne Plaza Hotel near Union Station. I
drove over there. Azure and Brooklynn had just gotten done
swimming in the pool.
Azure, Brooklynn and I walked around the hotel and took
photos with all of the statues while Deeya took a shower.
I mentioned to Deeya that we could all go over to the
Spaghetti Factory for Dinner. She liked that idea.
It was cold out and we walked about two blocks from the
hotel to eat.
We had a nice time eating. I went back and got the car to
pick the girls up from The Spaghetti Factory as it was
getting colder and and windier.
Azure stayed all night at the hotel again with Frank, Deeya
and Brooklynn. Deeya taught them how to play Monopoly.
She said that they played for about 6 hours straight.
FRIDAY JANUARY 8th 2016
Fast forward to January 8th. I met Tim and Courtney at
Starbucks at 6:15 P.M. I didn’t want to go straight to Deeyas
because Brooklynn was studying and I didn’t want Azure
and Zarah to be a distraction to her.
We went to Five Below. I told the girls that they could each
pick something out. That was a mistake because the
couldn’t decide. After about 30 minutes Zarah had to go to
the restroom. So we walked over to Wal-mart.
On the way out the door I stopped at the red box. We got
Minions, Ant-man and Tomorrow-Land.
Then we went back to five below. We looked around for
another 30 minutes. Finally Azure picked out a Piano lesson
DVD and Zarah got a Miniature Drum set.
We made it to Deeya’s house around 8:30. The girls watched
Minions and Yudi came downstairs and hung out.
I went and got the Memory Foam Mattress from a closet
downstairs. Yudi went back upstairs and we crashed on the
mattress around 11:00 P.M.
Saturday
Deeya and Franklin, and Brooklynn went to Tennis at
around 7:30 Saturday morning.
Zarah made cereal for her and Azure.
I gave Zarah and Azure a couple of PEZ dispenser gifts that
Elaina had given to me as a Christmas gift to Azure and
Zarah.
The girls spent a large part of the morning playing “Fashion
Show” with their American Dolls. They did Yoga for a while
also.
Around 2:00 I drove to Cicero to get McDonalds for the girls
and return the red box movies.
Yudi stayed at the house and played with the girls. Yudi went
out Saturday evening. Brooklynn went to stay all night at a
Friends house.
Azure practiced Keyboards while Zarah played on her
mini-drum set. I did my laundry
Eventually we made a little video of the 3 of us playing “Heart and Soul”
The girls made slo-motion movies on my Iphone and played
really good together. Saturday evening I made Pop-corn
and we watched “Ant-Man” while the 3 of us laid on the
mattress.
Sunday –
We got up around 9:00 and started watching Minions again.
I decided to take the girls to Cicero for Breakfast. We left the
house around 10:15 am. Snow had fallen overnight and
Zarah was mezmorized by it.
We ended up going to Westfield to the McDonalds with the
Play Area. There was only one other family in the whole
place. I was shocked. It was 11:15 on a Sunday.
The girls got Pancakes and O.J. I got a coffee.
We ended up playing in the Play area for about 35-40
minutes. I even joined in. Man I don’t bend like I used to.
I went down the slides with the girls a few times.
We left there and went to Wal-mart. The girls looked at toys
while I got a couple of Money Orders. Then we walked back
over to Five Below. I decided to let the girls each get one
more item each.
Azure got a small loom set. Zarah got a Beanie Boo.
It was getting windy and nasty outside. We got back in
the car and went over to Hobby Lobby. We walked around in
there for about 30 minutes.
Then we went down to Kohls. I was trying to find some
running shoes. Didn’t find any there. I called Missy and she
suggested ones at Costco ( I ended up getting those ). Missy
told me how much she had enjoyed the “Heart and Soul”
video that I had posted on YOUTUBE
After we left there I decided to take the girls to Castleton.
They wanted to go to the American Doll store really bad.
Missy had told me that it is closing at the end of January.
We parked by Von Mar. There was a lady playing a grand
piano in the center of the store. Azure told me that she
would like to have that job.
We spent about 30 minutes in the American Girl Store. A
employee came over and told Azure and Zarah how much
she like the pajamas on thier dolls.
Then we went to the food court. The girls got Dairy Queen
and I got a slice of Pizza. We stopped in a couple other
shops and finally left the mall around 3:30.
Zarah and I ran into Shoe Carnival. Prices weren’t bad but
they didn’t have the buy one get one 50% off at the time.
We drove back to Deeya’s house. Brooklynn and Azure
played with Azures Loom kit. Zarah and I went outside and
played around in the snow. She wanted to sled but I couldn’t
find one.
I started getting the girls stuff together and we left the house
around 5:30. Brooklynn left for Awana.
I had Azure and Zarah try to say “Unique New York” 3 times
fast. Azure was pretty good. Zarah was hilarious. I filmed it
with my Iphone.
Tim pulled up a few minutes later we put the stuff in the
trunk. I gave Zarah and Azure each a hug and a kiss and told
them to work hard in school this week. They both said that
they wish they didn’t have to go home so soon.
