12-25 and 26th 2014
The girls got to the house at 8:45. By then Deeya and Frank were ready to go to bed because they had to work the day after Christmas.
We went to the living room and the girls gave Brooklynn her gift. It was a a pair of Lavender UGG boots. They were nice. Then they tore into their Gifts. They didn’t even get their coats off.
Sarah Andrew and Andew Harris and Stephanie Sequeira were still there. We stayed upstairs for about an hour and a half. We all had some good laughs over Zarahs “Diaper Surprise” doll. She has been wanting it for months so I went ahead and got it for her. Azure loved her Minecraft stuff and her Flutterbye.
We went downstairs and watched “Boxtrolls” strange movie. I laid in the middle and the girls had their heads on my Shoulder.
I put batteries in the Fiber Optic lamp that I got Azure at Justice the day before. She loved it. It changes colors. I knew she would like it.
Zarah fell asleep around 11:30. Then Azure didn’t want to go to sleep so we got up. She drew a pretty picture with her new Sharpies Kit.
I worked on Brooklynn narration video for the Zionsville United Methodist Church. About 1:00 a.m. I made oatmeal for Frank and Deeya to take to work. I got up at 6:00 a.m. And got busy doing few things.
Azure and Zarah woke up at 8:30. We went upstairs and Sarah and Isla were up. When Andrew got up around 10:00 AM I made pancakes for everyone.
Then they watched “Space Jam”. Sarah and Zarah went outside and Zarah showed her that she had learned how to ride a bike.
Brooklynn and Azure played up in Brooklynns new “Canopy Tent” that she has in her room. Zarah and went to the gas station. I got her a blue Slushy and the normally cranky clerk gave it to me for free.
Around 3:00 pm. Andrew and Sarah took Zarah out for a while they wanted to get out of the house. Brooklynn and Azure played upstairs.
I tried to make dinner from Blue Apron. I got about 1/2 way through it and realized that 1/2 the Chicken was missing. I went downstairs and worked on the video more and watched the Taylor Swift Speak now Blu-Ray.
Andrew and the girls got home around 5:30 followed soon by Frank and then Deeya. Azure and Zarah and Brooklynn came down stairs and played with the Flutterbye. They had fun with it.
Frank finished dinner and then they all watched a newer version of “Miracle on 42nd Street. I studied PHP. Around 9:00 the girls came downstairs. They wanted to play with their new “live Pets” parakeets that they had brought with them . So I went to the gas station and bought some triple A batteries.
We had a tough time figuring out how to work them without the instructions. So we Youtubed it. We got Zarahs to work. But I think Azure’s is broken. It chirps but won’t repeat what you say. She was Kind of disappointed by this.
Luckily Deeya had just brought in the mail and there was a gift for Azure that I had ordered for her but didn’t arrive in time for Christmas.
We missed one of Zarah’s gifts under the tree the night before so…. It was perfect timing.
I gave Zarah her gift. And then I gave Azure the gift that had just arrived in the mail. Zarah got one of those big rubber bounce balls that you sit on. It has a big picture of Elsa and … from Frozen on it.
Azure got a stuffed “Beymax” doll. I had to get that on Ebay. They were sold out everywhere. She loved it. I knew she would That cheered her up. She fell asleep with it in her Arms.
I worked on PHP untill 11:30 and then got between them on the mattress and went to sleep.
12-27-14
Brooklynn woke us up around 8:30. It was darker in the basement because I put blankets over the windows the day before.
Andrew Curry sat in the kitchen all day and studied for his Thesis. The girls played all over the house most of the day. I tried to get some studying in too.But I kept one eye and ear on them all day. So my focus wasn’t entirely on my studies.
The girls had Cereal for breakfast. Frank made Dosa’s. Deeya worked in her study most of the day, The girls played with their new walkie-talkes.
Sarah Painted Zarah’s fingernails. Azure drew a couple of pictures with her new rainbow sharpie marker set. The girls didn’t want to go home
today so I told them they could stay another day. All three girls laid on the mattress and watched Despicable me 2. I made Mac a Cheese for Azure and Zarah.
Zarah and I went out to the barn and I blew up her “Frozen” Hippity Hoppity Ball. It was not very big. But she played on it anyway.
Then around 2:30 Missy called
She asked what time I was bringing the girls. I had forgotten that Coutney mentioned something about going to Church on Sunday. So I took a shower and loaded the girls stuff in Yudi’s car. They didn’t want to go. I didn’t want them to.
We left at 5:30. Deeya, Sarah,Isla, Andrew and Frank left at the same time to go to Anderson to visit Rama. I put gas in the car and let the girls pick out a couple of Ice Cream bars. Zarah got the traditional Ice Cream sandwich and Azure got a huge “ice cream Reece’s cup.
We got to Missy and Dans around 6:50 it was dark and raining. Phyliss gave me a hug. then Missy did. And the Howard and Dan gave me a nice handshake.
I went in and we all sat in the kitchen for about an hour visiting. They gave me a big bowl with blueberry pie and Ice Cream in it . It was really good.
I had a nice time visiting with them. Missy gave me 2 mags. One with Gwen on the cover and One with Taylor on the cover. I drove back listening to the new Taylor CD. I really only like 3 or 4 songs on it but. I listened to the whole thing a couple of times.
I stopped at Wal-Mart in Westield and got Beans and Shampoo and Pop. Then I realized that I didn’t have my phone and thought that maybe Zarah had put it in her pocket. She and Azure had Played Minion Rush on my IPhone the whole way home.
I was like. Oh no. I don’t want to have to drive all the way back to Brownsburg tonight. I took the food home and went to the gas station to
see if they had a pay phone. They don’t have one anymore. They guy inside let use the store phone. I called Dan at 9:05. They were already in bed. But then I went out to the car and found the phone in the floor board. I couldn’t see it in the dark before.
They guy at the gas station gave me a free 44 oz Pop. I went to the house and studied until 1:00 a.m. Everyone else got back around 1:30.
